In 2007, Alliance for Youth Development and Children�s Home of
Hope, an orphanage established by the organisation has established partnership
with Hamilton Community
College in Leicester,
England to
support the orphans. The children since from then has been raising funds to
support the home.
Some of them have also donated clothes, toys, games,
stationeries etc. for the children in the home and other orphans and vulnerable
children within the Abura Asebu Kwamankse District to help raise the standard
of living of these children.
The partnership
of these two bodies still continues. Thanks to the staff and the principal of
the school, especially Sara Shortland (Citizenship teacher) for all the
wonderful support.
