The organization liaises with other individuals and other institutions to offer scholarships to HIV orphans, street children, and needy students to continue their education.

The organization has over the years advocated for communities libraries.

Alliance for Youth Development (AYD) is a Youth-Led Non Governmental Organization (NGO) with the following regulatory bodies in Ghana; Registrar General Department (RGD) - G.12,583, Department of Social Welfare (DSW) – 3191 and National Youth Council (NYC) – YO/CR/R/06/0047.

The aim of the organization is helping underprivileged to bridge the Developmental gap that exists between the more endowed communities to the less ones to meet the ever-growing challenges of this world.

The organisation is envisioned to promote the general welfare of youth/children while ensuring their full utilization in the development of human resources as full participants in all facets of national development working towards total elimination of all social and cultural practices tending to discriminate against and dehumanize the youth/children in Ghana.
